The River Rescue That Brought Jack and Joe Together

In a late October forest and river tale two boys quarrel over a fair share of nut gathering then drift into a deadly feud. Joe falls ill, Jack bravely crosses a stormy river to fetch medicine, aided by Baxter the boatman, risking life to save his friend. Joe recovers and the feud ends with a renewed friendship.
