Some pupils could not complete tests due to illness or illness notes, yet certificates were issued on teacher recommendations.
At the Acton crossroad near seventh line, two separate accidents occurred within hours. Mary Chalmers injured early, Olive Precious shines at third, and Cycles pitcher kept hitters in check. Town League games feature Acton Tanning Co and Town teams trading narrow results. Brampton and Georgetown squads also noted with midweek and Friday fixtures.
