Lightning rod salesman meets resistant host at lakeside inn

Atherton of New York summers at Lake Lomond with a three story hotel and stabling. A lightning rod agent pressures him to install rods for safety as a storm approaches, but Atherton resists and to this day no rods are placed on the house despite the agent’s insistence.
