Adverse Weather Delays Acton Sewerage Plant Completion
The Acton sewerage disposal system is about 98 percent complete per LC McCorriston of R V Anderson consulting engineers. Snow and ice hindered access to the digester area delaying piping inside the tank while contractors finish main unit installation and plumbing water system work. Officials expect about ten days more inside the tank with work on the digester to resume once roads are plowed.
