Small House Fire Doused Early on West Hower Avenue

Truck Strikes Police Dog in Georgetown. Animal Destroyed
Yesterday morning a police dog belonging to William Duval in Georgetown on Mill Street was struck by a truck driven by Loyngs. The front wheel hit the dog on the head and the rear wheels crushed its hip. Chief McPherson said there was no chance of recovery, and the dog was destroyed after consulting with the owner.
