Acton Plans First Draft of Zoning By Law
At Monday night planning board meeting Acton reviewed the first draft of the proposed zoning by law prepared by planning consultant P A Deacon. Deacon noted the by law follows the form suggested by the Department of Planning and Development and board members will study clause by clause at future sessions. The Builders' Bulletin from CMHC on subdivision design was received for later consideration. Denny disclosed a lot plan for the Anglican Church parish hall and rectory and discussed possible future building, while approval for land separation for a parcel owned by Ron Brown and sought by the Pentecostal Holiness Church was discussed as it involves a street allowance and requires further information before approval.

Unconscious Driver Found After Wreck North of Campbellville
Frey Hansen, 21, was found unconscious in a ditch with a broken steering wheel in his hands after a car wreck on the Gurtph line about three miles north of Campbellville. Roy Woods reported finding Hansen 10 feet from the car and the vehicle remained in a ditch with damage. Hansen was taken to Milton Private Hospital for concussion, leg and facial injuries, and severe shock.
