Rev A E Zimmerman of Hamilton accepts invitation to become pastor at Acton Methodist Church. The Official Board, after Rev Culp’s resignation for health reasons, unanimously chose Zimmerman to fill the vacancy. He has 18 years of ministry, serves as Conference Secretary, and is noted for Sunday School work with his congregations.
Maison Berngra Limited of Warpte Way Acton appeared at Acton Polical Court for employing two young persons outside permitted hours under the Factory and Workshop Acts, fined £6. A woman testified her husband threatened her and cut her throat with a razor after locking her in a room, then escaped after a struggle. the husband, a brewery worker, was on the sick list and still drinking.
