Old Storey Grove plant in Acton, closed since last March, is being prepared as a site for a new industry. A confidential buyer, a well established manufacturer employing over a hundred with plans to expand to about two hundred, is organizing equipment and renovations to reopen the three story brick building. Townspeople await further details as negotiations continue and a new Acton industry is expected to begin operation soon.

The St. Albans Men's Chorus and the Rhythm Rambler trio performed with the Acton Citizens Band in the public school auditorium Sunday evening. R. R. Parker served as master of ceremonies. George Musselle conducted the chorus with George Hall at piano, featuring Cornfield Melodies Kentucky Babe Softly Falls the Shades and God Save the Queen. The Rhythm Rambler trio included Les Ruby Reno Braida and Garnet Rose. The band opened with O Canada and offered The Garden of Eden overture a waltz a medley of Irish songs Boostin the Basses and The Thunderer march with R Spielvogel conducting for Show Boy.
