Community Tree A Splendid Success
The Community Christmas Tree on Christmas Eve drew a large crowd despite frost that hampered the band. Santa Claus arrived with gifts for every child, and about one hundred gift bags with candles nuts and an orange were distributed. The tree was supplied by Duncan McBougall and Duncan Waldla with event organization by the True Blue Lodge and Public Utilities Commission helped coordinate the effort.
