Plastic coating on high school windows by Vancouver firm
Workmen with equipment sprayed Aqua glass on Acton High School windows this week under the school board property committee led by trustee William Coon. Eastern Glass Tint Company completed the job Monday using a half blue half green transparent coating that cuts glare by 70 percent, fades by 90 percent, and blocks most direct rays. The coating, guaranteed against peeling, chipping, or color change, has stood tests for over three years and is expected to last longer. this Acton project is the first in the area, with a Toronto office opened three months ago.

Beyond Recognition Car Wreck Hits Highway 25
Gordon Holmes of Acton, 24, suffered a broken ankle and head lacerations when his 1986 Mercury wrecked on Highway 25 early Sunday. Debris covered about 100 feet as the southbound car skidded 137 feet, narrowly avoided an oncoming vehicle, and knocked down guardrails, a sign, and trees. Holmes was taken to Milton District Hospital and then transferred to Oaksille Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. Local reactions noted Christ Bias decorations downtown.
