The Kid From Aedite Construction Co. Ltd Whitby has had a 115,897 dollar tender accepted for a new pineview central school near Hornby. After a December 4 meeting the board reviewed teachers and approved a motion to reimburse attendance with 140 dollars per member plus per meeting mileage. Transportation concerns surfaced as Joe Shertel and Bruce Nixon asked the board to provide transit for 22 Norval area pupils to Norval school, but the board referred the matter to the transportation committee citing boundary and overcrowding issues and potential costs.
