Oakville tax collector reports fifty thousand dollars of yearly taxes collected. Local clergy report a successful Methodist Church canvass increasing missionary offerings by forty three percent. The county council held its final regular meeting of the year with the Wardeata Dinner planned in Acton. Jon Lake of the Powasssa News was called to Georgelawa last week due to his mother Mrs Thomas Lake Ar. Jane Lo Warren returned from the General Hospital in Guelph last week and hopes to resume business activities after rest.
Mr and Mrs W Styer and others from Acton visit Orlando for a holiday weekend. The group includes Mr W Murray and Mrs Vic Norman and others staying at Mr Murray's home on Sunday.

Nein McLean lived fifty seven years in La frat las Erin, died Wednesday from throat illness. He was eldest son of Gita Donald McLean, born on the boasssteaul. Married Janet Duncan McTavish twenty one years ago. Survived by wife Mary and four of five children, including Jane Young, Donell, Mary and Duncan Herbert. Presbyterian Church elder, Ospringe attendee. Funeral Sunday at Everton.
