Acton Merchant Ralph Pallant Killed in Car-Truck Accident
Acton merchant Ralph Pallant of 1654 Bathurst St Toronto died Wednesday morning from injuries after his north bound car swerved on slippery roads from the season's first snowfall and was hit broadside by a tractor trailer. The driver died at Milton District Hospital about 10 am. Pallant owned Pallant's Ladies Wear in Acton and was en route to work with family and town merchants remembering his long service. Funeral set for Friday at Park Memorial Chapel with interment in Roselawn Cemetery.
