Glen Williams village fondly recalled in Halton County
Halton County's Glen Williams is described as a scenic old village along the River Credit with mills, a woollen and glove industry, a blacksmith, hotels, churches, and multiple stores. The piece notes Squire Williams founding, fires that reshaped the mills, and Timothy Eaton's first job at Lyon's store, ending with a reflection on the village's enduring though changing character.
