Jas. Sangster Fatally Injured at Beardmore tannery
James Sangster, 68, native of Aberdeen, died after being crushed by a descending hoist at Beardmore and Co. tannery in Acton. He had worked 16 years at the plant and was checking the hoist pit when the accident occurred near noon Friday. An inquest is planned. Funeral held at Johnstone & Muirley with Rev. H L Bennie officiating. Interment at Fairview Cemetery Acton.

Morden Ex-Halton Warden Dies at Oakville Home
