Morning Accident Injures Two With One Hospitalized
Early this morning an accident of Crewnon sorters wire borted left two men injured. Donna Turner of Erin district was shaken up and Witt Inglis of Acton suffered 21 matches to head and face and was sent to Guelph General hospital. OPP officers are investigating.

Acton Car Ditches After Pickup Swerve
Roelof Groene of 16 Hower Avenue Acton drove westbound when a small truck began a left turn onto the Sidth Line. Groene swerved to avoid a crash and his car struck a ditch causing about 400 dollars in damage. The uninjured truck driver was William Cunningham 79.

Firemen Respond to Two Fires in Week
The fire siren called crews to two incidents this week. On Monday night firefighters arrived at J. P. Dunne’s home at 60 Main Street to control overheated pipes on a space heater. On Wednesday they tackled a grass fire at C. A. Foster’s farm, burning about 8 to 10 acres and threatening a deteriorating fence.
