Early treatment urged for crippled children at Milton meeting

Easter Sunday brought record crowds to St Alban’s and neighboring churches as bells rang from St Joseph’s and Knox speakers boomed through the town. Annual Easter Egg Hunt At Acton Park Draws Forty Plus Children
About 50 children braved the raw east wind Monday morning to hunt colored slips of plastic hidden throughout Acton Park for Easter eggs. The event, run by the Vel 2 YMCA, saw 100 slips hidden the night before with a top prize of 18 slips won by Joanne Landsborough. Jacoba second with 17, Der Brink and Landsborough tied with 16 each, plus other youngsters among the winners. Local president Elmer Smith and officials Mc Kensie and Dauber distributed prizes after the hourlong search.
