Fairy Raleigh Zane a 14 year old Jersey cow owned by Featherstone Bros of Trafalgar becomes Canada’s Jersey Champion long distance production cow. She produced 660 pounds of butterfat in a season and lifetime butterfat of 9,980 pounds while two-milkings daily under Jack and Bill Featherstone. The Halton Jersey Breeders Club and Canadian Jersey Cattle Club plan a banquet in Milton on April 13 with Col. T. L. Kennedy as guest speaker.
