Miss Lavery of New Westminster joins weekend plans with Mr Heslip and relocates. Mr Brown from Cumberland, Vancouver Island, takes staff role at the Royal Bank. Mrs Gladwin and family reside with uncle Mr Puller who bought the Sherwood ranch. Miss Alice Steede, piano teacher, now fortified at Leipzig Conservatory in Germany. George Copeland of Chiliwack spent Sunday with Druggist Mr M W Copeland. Mr Dave Wells traveled to Vancouver and returned Wednesday.
The Reeve and Council of the Corporation of the District of Matsqui enacts a public highway named Smith Road. It runs from District Lot 382N one mile east to section 18, then north to the Fraser River, width 93 feet. Passed August 8 1910 and September 3 1920. JAMES GIBSON CM. Dated Mt Lehman September 1910.
