Matsqui Council weighs grant for agricultural fair buildings
The Matsqui Council debated a 500 grant for the Matsqui Agricultural Association's annual fair. Only 250 was approved last year. A new chicken building and better stock accommodations were needed. The upper hall should be reroofed for safety and the children’s and Indies’ work area relocated. The grant may be reduced 40 percent. Delegation urged building rather than subsidize upkeep.
