Death of Mr. Lockie Beaton After Lingering Illness

The community mourns the death of Mr. Lockie Beaton following months of illness. He underwent a Vancouver hospital operation about two months ago and died Wednesday morning at home. Beaton served at Mission Bridge for years and was beloved for kindness and cheerful words. He leaves a widow and eight children, oldest about 18, who share in the community’s sympathy.
