Elections in Matsqui Municipality Saturday saw Reeve Merryfield defeat Prof. Charles Hill-Tout by 45 votes, 222 to 207. Councillors elected included Melander Satchell Fred Erickson and Beaton. Merryfield Wooler and Conroy returned as school trustees.
