Tragic death of Kal berg found on rail line near Wye Road
The body of Kal berg a 45 year old Swede from Vancouver was found on the B C Electric line near Marshall's Creek. An inquest returned a verdict of death by exposure and drinking after he and a companion Swede Johnson had been in Sumas on a drinking bout. The coroner Dr Swift presided and the jury included L Hunter Norman James David Maran A Everett Li Lemeran and Andrew Anderson.

A Liberal meeting at Abbotsford on Thursday May 20 selected Abbotsford as the date and site for the Liberals of the New Westminster District riding convention. Representatives from Chilliwack Dewdney Yale and Port Moody area will attend to discuss officers and the selection of a Liberal candidate for the upcoming federal election. The passing of Mrs. Yates widow of Rev. F. Yates vicar of St Matthews Abbotsford occurred in Calgary on Thursday April 22 after months of illness. She leaves husband two daughters Mrs Edith Yates and Mrs Bell wife of the Imperial Bank Calgary manager and one son Mr A R Yates of Gleichen Alberta. The Rev. Mr. Yates is expected home this weekend.

Three turbanned tapp ers get tapped in street fight
Three Hindus from Chilliwack were involved in a drunken quarrel that turned violent. Constable Thorne interviewed the trio and Magistrate Kerr warned them home with costs of two and a half dollars and coats apiece. Separately, Rev. The British Columbia Council of the Boy Scouts held its annual meeting April 9 1915 at the Provincial Parliament Building with His Honor the Lieutenant Governor presiding. Matsqui Councillors Convene At Gifford Exhibit Hall
The bi monthy Matsqui Municipal Council meeting held April 17 at the Exhibition Building approved a plan granting Robert Butler pole line rights to Lyndon Butler and set pole height terms.
