Abbotsford Hospital plans discussed with Sims council
A delegation led by H. Ly Teethaway and N. Hill urged provincial and public support for a new Abbotsford hospital. The plan seeks 50 percent provincial funding with local contributions and a $21,000 initial cost. The group hopes site value and donated lumber cover part of the need and notes the hospital could be self supporting based on past nursing home data. The council promised to inform the hospital committee after their next meeting.
