Comedian Red Skelton dies of undisclosed illnessFrom wire reportsLOS ANGELES - Red Skelton, the gentle clown-co-median who stumbled and bumbled his way through decades of prime time television skits and more than 30 movies, died Wednesday. He was 84.Known for goofy physical comedy and disheveled carrot-top hair, Skelton died at a hospital in Rancho Mirage, 90 miles east of Los Angeles, after a long, undisclosed illness, said spokeswoman Mary Kay Plock.
