Polio Victim Gave Braces To Scrap Drive“Wish we could eat out of tin cans for a couple of days so I could bring a lot In,” That's the sentiment of Arthur Burke, sixth grade pupil at Die Dewey-Mann School, who with school youngsters throughout the city is back on the job of collecting salvaged tin cans.Arthur, whose home is 011 Wilson street, has already demonstrated his eagerness to contribute toward the war effort. A victim of Infantile paralysis, Arthur brought in his old braces during the scrap iron drive last year.The fall tin can drive, which has Just begun, will be conducted entirely through the schools, with no •pusc-to-housc canvasses. All the W^y's public schools and the ele-.mcntary parochial schools will act as depositories, and the cans will be collected from them at the end of each month.
