Although full details of the forthcoming issue have not been announced, the following features have been decided upon. 'The bonds will be dated October 24,1918, and will beaT interest at rate of 4i per cent per annum from that date, interest payable October 15, . and A pril 15 each year.September 28 and 27 are designated as Volunteer days, these are theday on which all those who wish to buy bonds of the fourth Liberty Loan with' out being urged to do so, may place their subscriptions and receive the _ badges that indicate that they have loaned as much money as they can spurs*' to the government for the prosecution of the war. Later an active canvass-will be started for the sale of the bonds. As many as buy on the Volunteer days, will relieve the selling organization of just that much work, and at the same time give an exhibition of patriotic action which will be oi much benefit during thfe coming week. This is the largest loan the country has ever faced, the largest because the need today is more urgent than ever before, during this Loan campaignyour township will declare herself for or a,ainst the cause for which her sons are fighting and dying today in France. They are giving all for you and yours and they need help. The facts must be faced frankly, our township quotas are greater than in the last loan. Let this sink home. This means that every individual must shoulder his share of the responsibility to the very utmost. It means-that every individual must feel the personal responsibility that rests upon: him as he never did before. The task before us is big, but not too big. We must dig deep, our pa triotism must not fail in the test.THE ALLOTMENTBased on a 16,000,000,000 00 issue the Fourth Loan allotment for Vermillion county will be as follows:TOWNBANKHan-1856 were incy. \my, a, all rorth • and ge ofi M.Liine, I.
