Will Krect Federal Monument.Superintendent King of the National Cemetery at Baton Rouge, has furnished the atuhorities of the State of Massachusetts with all the information involved in the location of the $3,000 monument to be erected by that state in memory of the 326 soldiers from that state who were killed In the battle of Baton Rouge, and are buried at this point. It is expected that the state of New York will soon open corespondence in connection with the erection 01 a monument to its dead, as there are twice as manyNew Yorkera buried there.
