FREE HOSPITALBEING PLANNEDdrt.£Little Rock, Sept. 20.— Plans are'r\sqiunder way for a three story hospital, \and clinic building to adjoin the rear, vof the Medical College, Second and • tSherman streets, according to Dr. | Morgan Smith, dean of the Medical School of the University of Arkansas. ; The hospital, which is being built with $20,000 and interest in the Dr. ^ Isaac Folsom free clinic fund founded by Dr. Folsom of Lonoke about 15years ago, will be modern in every respect, and according to Dr. Smith will be thrown open for the free treatment of patients from all over Arkansas.The Folsom clinic has been conducted in connection with the medical school and the Logan H. Roots Memorial or City hospital for several years. Only sufficient iunds to keep it operating have been spent. The bulk of the fund given by Dr. Folsom has been held in trust by directors of the medical school, and at a recent meeting, according to Dr. Smith, it was decided to erect the hospital.Charles L, Thompson is the architect.
