Eitel, in charge of enlisted personnel section of the Adjutant General's office, U8AFFE lt;United States Armed Forces Far East' has been promoted to the rani of major in the southwest j Pacific area.Major Eitel. whose wife, Mrs. Ethel Eitel. resides at 3505 Good street, Boise, has been overs is 28 mont hs. He went into the service as a second lieutenant with the Boise unit of the Idaho National Guard in September, 1940. and went overs, as in April. 1942.He served with the 41st Infan-j try Division during the Sanananda and Salamaua campaigns before being assigned to his present Job. I He attended school at Pocatello where h'* attended the University of Idaho, Southern branch, majoring in electrical engineering.His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy C.Eitel. still reside in Pocatello.—*—*—^—* ■
