The w.ather was Ideal and there was a fair attendance the Ia3t day.Tuesday v;as devoted to preparation and reception of old veterans, music bin* furnished oy the Colusa baud and a martial band. In tb? afternoon a progrnm was given at the city park. There was music, invocation by Rev. Hurtt, address of welcome by Wm. Hem my; and addresses by Chrl* l.ocke of Keckuk and Dr. Prescott of Dallas City. Prof and Mrs. Frank Kclis of GHe-burg, gav* several duets and solos, which were enjoyed by all. Tb** 'Kells are fine entertainers. Mrs Kells has a delightful soprano voice of ram Hwwness, which she commands with case: Prof. Kells has a tenor voice that is powerful, and he sings with great effect. His s aging was a pleasure to all. They also entertain -1 the audi nee in the evou-ing.The camp fire was held in the evening, and an Interesting program given. A Keokuk quartette gave sev-• ral numbers, and th»re was music by the Colusa band.On Thursday morning the soldier boys held their business session, and selected West Point as their next plaee for the holding of their reunion. The following offlcrs were elect-ed:B. W. N'lrclv of West Point was elected president cf the association: Dr. Markl? of Carthage, vice p esl-drr.t; the seccrtary will b' appointed.In the pfternoon there war, music by the band, songs by the Keokuk quartet and address by Hon. Wm. I. j Graham of Aledo. Ml., candidate for (the r publican nomination for eon-Igr ss. He paid high tribute to both * the living and the departed comrades.
