The first list of 126 names was made public Thursday.SOT. BESEMER was awardedthe Silver Star Medal for gallantry displayed in action on the last day he .was seen. The action took place on July 25, 1950, near Yong-dong while Besemer was serving with the First Cavalry Division The citation accompanying thedecoration read in part:“Cpl. Besemer, observing several of his comrades lying wounded in na open field forward of hia position. although covered with extremely heavy enemy automatic weapons fire, left his position of comparative safety and moved over open terrain, exposing hur-self to the heavy enemy fine, to at-sist his wounded comrades,Cpl. Betemar was last seen bending over hi* fallen comrades administering first aid. Cpl.
