Mr. L. P. Dosh, of Davenport, then came forward, also two young Indies, Mies Eya K. Johnson and Miss Stwlman, each with a battle flag, and beside them wore Messrs. Jack Grnoe and Harlan Hollenbeck who had carried the flags through the war. Mr. Dosh made a very thrilling speech, referring to the two brave boys who bad carried the colors through every battle of the regiment, and who never allowed them to be trailed in the dust, and said that it was fitting that after all these years, the flags should be placed in their hands again. Three rousing cheers were then given for the brave color bearers and also for the old flag. Miff* Ella Johnson* daughter of Comrade Win, J. Johnson, then recited a war poem which was loudly applauded.
