JTMr. Abraham Lasher brooght to town, on Wednesday, two runaway negroes, taken at or near hi* residence, in Clark township. They were steering for Vincennes where they had been told they would find those who would elevate them. The darkies seemed no ways loath to go back, and remarked that their condition in Alabama was more comfortable thananything they had eiperienced since they left. They are now' in the Hawesvjlle (Ky.) jail. Runaway negroes had better steer clear of Perry county if they expect to get through to Canada or any other free nigger paradise, and particularly keep off of the road which runs near Lashers, for he is snre to catch them.
