CiMP Wkaxlst.—On yesterday we paid a visit to Camp Weakley, and faar.d stationed there three companies of artillery. This Camp is located j'i»t east of Eight-Id near a beautiiul grove, baring extensive j ar..de and drill grounds; ind*-«-d we do uot know of * place better suiud for a camp than that oc-capied by the troops stationed there.The compaaies now encamped there and being rapidly perfected iu the d ill, are te Nelson Artillery—named in honor of “the Admiral,’' Anson Nelson—under the command of Lieuts. J. J. McDaniel. Jas. A. higher, B. F. Nichol and Thomas L BraiWord. jr.; the M*ury Artillery, Capl. R. P. Griffi h. Lieit. J. M. Sparkman. S. M. -McDockrry, P. L Fitzgerald, and E. P. Thompson—all Irom Maury County; the Harding Artillery, nam-d after our lellow ciUE-n, Geo. W. G. Harding, has not yet bad assigned to iu command a Captain—the Lieut, nants elect-d, are E. D. Bax tar, S. L. Freeman, James M. Bricn and Caroa Freeman.Camp Weakley Is under the command of Capl. G. H.
