At least we have the satisfaction .of knowing that every effort has been made that nothing has been left undone.If Laredo secures the base it willmean the quartering of 2500 air cadetsin barracks on the new air field.These barracks will be built by theair corps. In addition, there will be150 unmarried officers living on thereservation and 100 married officersand their families in downtown La-xedo. It will mean an average pay-2 oil of approximately §2,00,000 per year.
