One was in English which said, “end the Vietnam war now,” and the other was in Chinese tad read, V‘American itudenis oppose America's ^Vietnam policy.”.Most of the demonstrators were students of the University af California on an exchange program and now studying at the Chinese University of Hong! Kong.In Moscow, a Soviet delegation took a Vietnam war protest to U.S. Ambassador Llewellyn E. Thomspon today, timing their action with the anti-war rally in Washington.Thompson received the 11-man delegation in his office. He was the first U.S. ambassa-ior to the Soviet Union ever to jersonally accept such an un-fficial protest.In Ithaca, N.Y.
