Kansan Asks Furloughs for Six Sons for One More Family ReunionWashington. Oct. 19 o?)—There has been no family reunion at the ^ home of John H. Jansen. 69, of w Junction City, Kan. for 15 years and he deeply desires to bring his family together “one more time under favorable circumstances.So he has written the adjutant general of the United States Army asking that furloughs be ordered for six of. his eight sons who arc still in service so they can come home for Christmas and join two other sons who have been honorably discharged.# The Kansan wrote all members of the Kansas congressional delegation urging them to support his request. Representative Rees «R-Kan.) already has written the adjutant general, asking that the six Jansen boys be granted Christmas furloughs.Cites Sons’ Services I feel that I have earned the right to this request by virtue of chc number and services contributed by my sons.” the father wrote the adjutant general with copies of the letter to the congressmen.Here is the record of the eight sons, he said:One, who was in the Navy, has received a medical discharge because of wounds.
