Observe 25thAnniversaryat HomeThis fall marks the 25th anniversary of the founding of the Receiving Home, 809 Madison street, Maywood, which proudly displays a service flag with 29 blue stars on »it. Among the blue, is one gold star for Louis Kmet, who was killed in action in Africa. The “family album” holds a picture of Louis in his uniform and one of his grave in a far off land.Represented by one of the blue stars on the flag tha^ hangs between two windows in the dining room, is Lt. Olga Kmet, sister of Louis, who is now a nurse in the service of her country. Ensign Mike Harbushka, who was mentioned in a national magazine article for his heroism at the front, is another blue star. When he returned on furlough, the boys and girls all flocked about him.
