Webb(Continued From Pago 1.)Today both draft boards are in session working on the lists. Word from Austin to The Times Thursday morning announced that Dr, J. L. Crawford had been named examining physician for the rural registrants in charge of Hohe of Mirando City, while Dr. A. T. Cook was the examining physician for the Laredoregistrants in charge of the bojid headed by Carlo.; Richter.Salinas stated that he estimated 80 percent of the Webb county registrants had complied with that du*y by noon Wednesday, as during the afternoon the rush soon disappeated and registrations were of a normal nature, with very few remaining to be registered up to the closing hours at 9 o'clock Wednesday night.The sixmembers of the two boards with their two office managers, George Sturgis, for the Laredo office and W. W. Gregg for the Mirando City office, met today at quarters in Room 408 Sames Moore building.The first act of the board will be to shuifle the cards and give them serial numbers. Richter said each card must .V separately examined by the board members and this will take some time.When the serial numbers are given these will be published daily. The first lottery will be held between October 26 and November 2.Byron Johnson, member of the Laredo board, cut short a vacation in California and came home to aid in his duties.
