Parker FFA Places in Judging ContestDennis Dorn, a junior atParker High School and president of the school's FFA chapter, won top individual honors in the Midwest FKA Invitational Dairy JudgingContest at the World Dairy Expo last week in Madison.Dorn scored 290 of a possible 300 points to win over 150 othercontestants from Wisconsin, Minnesota and Illinois. Of the sjx classes of dairy cattle in the contest, Dorn scored perfectly in four of them.He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bud Dorn, Highway II.The Parker FFA team scoredhifTtincf- in Hip. Guernsov breed.Members’ of the team were Dorn, John Fiedler, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Fiedler, S. Crosby Avenue, and Tim O’Leary, son of Mr. and Mrs. Vincent O’Leary, Rt. 5.Fiedler is a senior and O’Leary is a junior at Parker High School. Both are FFA officers.Others attending the Expo were Mike Gunn, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Gunn. Aflon Road, and Pat Gunn, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Gunn, Tripp Road. Bcrnie Staller, Parker High School agri-business instructor and FFA advisor, was teamcoach.
