, THURSDAY, OCTOBER 12, 1944.. »Plaque Pretented To Frederick VictoryMayor Hugh V. Gittinger presents the plaque containing the name of the S.S. Frederick Victory to Capt. E. C. Peterson, captain of the new vessel. The presentation took place Friday at which time the Mayor was escorted through the Frederick Victory. Looking on is J. M. Willis, vice-president and geucial manager of the Bethlchem-Fairfield shipyards in Baltimore which built the vessel, named after Frederick.
