Michael C. HansonSAYNER - Michael C. Hanson, 83, Sayner, died Wednesday morning at Howard Young Medical Center, Woodruff, where he was a patient snce Aug. 27.Born May 30, 1891 at Racine, Wis., he owned and operated Hanson’s Cottages at PlumLake over 50 years. A former supervisor of the Town of Plum Lake, he also served as clerk and assessor many years. He was a member of Belle City Masonic Lodge, Racine, 57 years. During World War I, he served in the Army.Surviving are his widow, Elizabeth, and two sisters, Mrs. Clinton Skews, Mesa, Ariz., and Mrs. Richard Zehrt, Racine.Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Gaffney Funeral Home, Eagle River, with the Rev. Len Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the Eagle River Cemetery. The funeral home will be open for visitation from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.
