Pershing, commander of the United States army.The appointment came as a result of young Sisk's great desire to belong to the military band of the regiment. When the hand was being organized here the lad made known his pet desire to his father, who accompanied him before the medical j pa] examiner. Thus the lad lias two more1 stripes than he is years old.The warrant of the official mascot carries with it authority over all noncommissioned officers and soldiers.
