BOARD OF HEALTH NOTICEAt a meeting* of the County Board of Health called for the purpose of considering the present threatened epidemic of Influenza, so called Spanish “Flu”, in this country, the following rules promulgated by the State Board of Health, were adopted. We urge that in so far as possible they be observed by the public. This epidemic is not noticeably different from the severe epidemic of Grippe which visited this country in 1889 and 1890. The chief danger lies in complications and of those pneumonia is the most frequent. The epidemic is not considered ofsuch gravity as to stop the usual business activities of the County.Follow* the rules given below and it is not thought the fatalities will be many. These conclusions are arrived at after considering carefully the U. S. Government reports of September 27, 1918, and current State reports.' Keep cool and don’t get excited.
