President Lincoln at Harp er’s FerryHxAUQUitrstts Ahmy of Potomac, October 2. jPresident Lincoln arrived at Harper's Ferry on a special train from Washington yesterday, P. M. He wtta met by M«j, Kip mod Oapt. Sumner, and escorted to Sum* nor’s headquarters. The President was accompanied by Geo. McClernard and the members of bis staff, the Marshal of the District of GolumbUj President of Baltimore and Ohio Railroad and several other gentlemen. At Sumner's quarters he was met by McClellan, and after a cordial interview, the President, accompanied by McClellan, Sumner, and a brilliant cavalcade, composed of Divir.cn and Brigade Generals, with members of their staffs, went to review Sumner’s array on Bolivar Heights. The troops presented a fine ap-pearrnce and greeted the President and McClellan with enthusiasm.The President also visited the ruins of the railroad bridge and government buildings at Harper's Ferry, when be returned to Bolivar Heights and passed the night with Sumner. This morning the President, accompanied by Sumner, and other Gene*, alt, visited the troops on Loudon and Maryland Heights, aod rode over the ground where the troops surrendered. The President expressed himself highly pleased with the condition of the troops.
