She also brought her baby, Ululani Marie, to live with us. They stayed with us for about three months. After the attack on Pearl Harbor, my children and 1 were evacuated, and Molla left to stay with her family somewhere in Honolulu. After several years, we wrote to a church in Honolulu in an effort to find her. We discovered that Ululani was living in Nebraska, so we got in touch with her — but no one seems to know where Molla is living. We would love to find Molla again. She was a very dear friend during some challenging times.- Berniece L. Curran, AnaheimDear Finders: In 1966, my family moved to Barstow, and I was incorrectly placed in an older Baptist Sunday School class. The mistake was corrected a few weeks later, but not before I met Jim Perdue in that older class. I was 16, and he was 18. He became my first love, and he was a special part of my life for two years.HarborAs time passed, I changed religion — I joined the Church of Latter-day Saints — and I went away to college. Eventually, our relationship ended. I never forgot him, though, as many little things have reminded me of him over the years. His jobs from 1966-1968 were with the railroad, Sears Catalog Store, Kennedy High School, and a restaurant. He was a psychology major planning to transfer from Barstow Community College to UCLA around 1968.I would like to know how his life has been and to be in touch with him again.— Terri Sarver JensenHow to find someone: Finders is a nationwide column.
