Give Surprise Party For Hiram PierceHI ram Pierce, son of Mr. and Mrs Ulysses Pierce of Water Street. Randolph, who left Friday . morning for Fort Devens, Mass.. was the Sliest of honor Thursday evening at a surprise farewell' party given toy friends at the hom£ of his parents. He was presented with a gold signet ring as a farewell gift from the. group and an evening of games and dancing was enjoyed. Refreshments were served.Those Invited included Mr. and Mrs. Francis pierce and son. Nor-j man. Of Five Islands. Mr. and Mrs.' Alfred Fyfe, Mrs. Merton Rowe, Mrs. 2nrl Fossett. Miss Arlene Harvey.
