HOPEWELL SOLDIER DECORATED 3 TIMESBedford Co. NewsTechnical Sergeant James D. Donaldson, prisoner of war in Gar-many, and son of Mr. and Mrs. David E. Donaldson of Hopewell, Route 1, has had three decorationsconferred on him by the United States government.He has received the Air Medai decoration and two Oak-leaf Clusters, which indicate second and third awards of the same decoration. The awards were made for exceptionally meritorious achievement while participating in an aerial flight against the enemy.In the absence of Sergeant Donaldson, the decorations were presented to his parents. The formal presentation was made by Major Esker of the Altoona recruiting office and took place at the Donaldson home on Tuesday evening, November 9.
