WANTED.A SUBSTITUTE to take service In the 2d Va. cavalry. Ilorse and equipments furnished A liberal price paid. For father particulars npply at this office. October 17NOTICE.DESERTED, on the 20th of September, the following privates in my company: John Whitaker, of Smyth county, Virginia, about fifty-five years of age, nearly six feet in height, figure rather slight, grey eyes and black beard; Alvin Gibson, five feet five or six inches in height, dark complexion, about twenty years of age; also Squire Gibson, rather dark complexion, nearly six feet in height, about twenty-two years of age.I will give $30 reward for the delivery of each of the aforesaid persons, or $90 for the three.
